It's not only a great new set release from Smeared Ink, Dragon Love, it's also the theme of the challenge over at Smudgy Antics this week.
The other DT members have some great examples to show you of the other images but this is the one I chose to use this time.....Skull Keeper.
I altered a CD tub. The top that normally sits on top of the spindle to keep the blank CDs safe, turned upside down.
The paper used is from Susan's Crafty Chaos. Still waiting for her to rejoin the crafting community, I do miss her work.
I cut various sized circles, well my cricut did the hard work ;) and tiered them up. There is a circle under the big one that fits in the case to stop the lid sliding off. One of my skull beads and a couple of small spacers to form a knob. I needed some where to store my collection of skull beads after all.
Skull Keeper itself was coloured with pencils and blended with baby oil.The skulls it's protecting were coloured with promarkers. A graphite pencil used to form a back ground.
The wings were layered up so that they stood proud of the container and looked more "wing like".
Go look at the other examples created with the talent of the other DT members and come back and share your Dragon Tales. Please.

A Recipe
1,2,3 A recipe. We want to see you use 1 of something, 2 of something and 3 of something!
Doesn't matter what - just tell us what it is that you have used. Me, I made a card. This is the sister to the little pink dragon I showed you all at the beginning of the week.
My recipe - 1 DP - a scrap from trimcraft's Neighbourwood stack for the little Dragon to sit on. This little cutie was coloured with promarkers and some glitter added for claw and horn polish. Glossy accents for that dewy eyed look.
2 Ribbons. I layered a lilac grosgrain on purple satin edged organza. I also added a little charm with a brad
3 Homemade flowers. These were just small squares of an old window screen. edges singed with a flame and layered up and a pearl added at the centre.
The main background is an embossed piece of lilac core coredinations, sanded and stuck to a glossy black piece of card. Then onto a pearlised purple card base.
There we have it. Easy as 1,2,3.
Your turn now. Come show us your makes at Delicious Doodles to be in with a chance of winning 5 yummy images of your choice.
