Going my way? Which Way?

Stamp It Crazy have a halloween challenge with a difference this week..... MUST contain something you can ride. Well ...'tis the week when witches and warlocks are emerging from the hidden corners and heading off to their celebrations. My little cutie this week is a digi from Stamp It Crazy called Zambie. I have seated her on her broomstick and she's of to party. BUT....... she's lost :(
The background is inked glossy card onto which I stamped a few bats.
The base of the easel card has a panel that I stamped Smeared Ink stamps from the Holy City set and added 2 punched lengths of MS scary fence. Some of the gravestones I have cut on 3 sides and bent up to give a 3 D look.

I am entering this into the Stamp It Crazy - Going My Way challenge
And this is another project I'm entering into the Crafty Purple Frog's 1st "Anything Goes" challenge. Also entering into The Daring Cardmakers' challenge this week for their Halloween theme and into Paperplay challenge for theirs. Simon Says stamp and show something spooky - so I'm entering into that challenge as well.

I put a spell on you

Not me of course, but Witchy Grumpy. Isn't she just great. From a set by Smeared Ink, you'll no doubt get to see a few more in the next few weeks. Sentiment stamped all round the side is from the same set. Coloured in promarkers and attached to orange paper printed with the spiders web from Tiddly Inks with mod podge and then onto orange cardstock. This was attached to a frame with foam tape. Her cauldren was a freebie from Shelly's Images on her fright night and the black cats are a Stamp It Crazy image stamped in black onto black card stock and the eye's painted with florescent red paint. These act as the anchor on this simple easel card.
The frame was made from orange cardstock, foam taped onto black cardstock with a shiny black behind the aperture. all this was then surrounded by burnt orange tape. This is loosely following the October sketchy over on the Smeared and Smudged forum

I'm also entering this into the Art on the Darkside challenge for Black and Orange with 1 other colour as optional, And Haunted Design House for their Magical Mayhem.

Second card of the day

Stamp It Crazy are having a free for all this week on their challenge blog. This image is just one of their fantastic range. Having another go at the soot stamping technique I started on the other week, this is one of the images I chose to use. I was so pleased with the result that I chose to not do anything else to it other than highlight it using matt silver and shiny black cardstock. The sentiment is from the Halloween Grumpies set from Smeared Ink, heat embossed in silver on the same black and matted onto that matt silver. For just a little touch more I used a shiny silver organza ribbon with topped with black fibres to match her hair and some black and clear dewdrops.

Bling week for Tellen's Place

First I am going to apologise if this posts early.... going to try and schedule it for later today ... Having to go to work today. Long story, son broke his ankle 2 weeks ago and they were unsure if he would need it pinned. This means that all his chores are having to be done by me. He had been told to rest it or suffer the knife and surgery. Anyway, back to hossy again yesterday instead of work, managed to get a shift slide hence my week is turned upside down yet again. Good news - he's allowed to put weight on it now so he can hobble about a bit more **grin**.

OK back to business......

Bling week at Tellen's Place!!!!! (I am sure Terry is in cahoots with all the other challenge setters out there.....BLING!!!!)
This next project started off as a little joke and spiralled away. Plenty of glitter of all colours was used......
2 TPD images, Pukele and Skullflame were first printed onto acetate. Then bit by bit I glued glitter on in sections. Waiting for each bit to dry before going onto the next was the tedious bit.

While this was going on, I started on the box.....here's where the recycle bit comes in...... an aluminium box, originally used to house spot lights in ceilings has been sitting on hubby's workbench for ages, well there were 2 ...... the other has been earmarked by me as well, hehehehe......I made a cover with thinnish orange chipboard, cutting holes in 2 sides to take the 2 images. When the glue was all dry on the acetate and cleaned of all the excess glitter, these 2 panels were stuck in place. The sides were then finished off with loads of flame shaped pieces of red, orange and shiny holographic red cardstock and some paper from my DWCV Taj Mahal range which has glitter embedded in it. Then as a finishing touch, some sparkly gold ribbon that has been in my stash for ages.
Some pics here wouldn't go amiss ........
Pukele with and without candle light......

and Skullflame......

A rather long post I'm afraid and thank you for staying with me.
Now I hope you have either been or are going to look at all the other Divas' creations, I'm sure you will love what you see.

The reason this is a late entry into the Stamp It Crazy challenge this week is because I had to wait until today to post ... for obvious reasons. But the recycled challenge they have going over there seemed to fit this as it is an old lighting box used.

I'm Dead ....SIC

No I'm not dead yet. But Stamp It Crazy are challenging us to design our own gravestone!!! How could I resist? Only stipulation was that the design should be in black, grey and red. Also it had to have a moon in it. Thinking cap goes on. Have to have a good think of the image I'd like others to see depicting ME........ well those that know me will know that my name is Angel.......Hahaha, fallen Angel is more like it!! OK that's my theme.
Grave stone is an image from hedstone that I have adapted with a stamp it crazy image that has in it's turn been adapted. I promise there was no blood. This was all printed onto grey cardstock and inked, adding a little dimension down the sides. The whole gravestone was mounted onto papers from printable heaven(bats) and Crafty Choas after adding a couple of feathers for the angel wings from grandson's crafty box. There are 2 little background stamps there from stempenwinkel. The moon is a circle of pearlised white paper.
The whole thing was then mounted onto black cardstock then onto grey.

SIC challenge #2

Just squeezing in 1 more card - before going away...... via the hossy. Just had a phone call to say they have a cancellation and can squeeze me in to see the orthopedic consultant if I could make it. If I was flying away today I'd have taken a later flight!! Got told on monday that the blinding headache I have had for months is nothing to do with my ears, nose or throat but they are going to do an MRI to see if that throws any light on things.... wait for an appt.... again. anyway.....

GIRLS WITH ATTITUDE
That's what Stamp It Crazy have requested - with a recipe.....
Must contain a Girl, ribbon, retro flower and sentiment. Well I used one of their Goth stamps and although not strictly a girl - she is female. Cutting her wings off seemed a shame. The sentiment is from TLC. The backing papers are all from Crafty Chaos, including the paper that I punched the flowers from. The ribbon in the recipe is threaded into 2 of those flowers. The 'Slipped Halo' is from a peeloff. That about covers it.

Now you know what I do when I can't sleep.

Stamp It Crazy

And that's just what I did .....10 individual images although if you discount the 4 grave stones as 1 and the 2 stunted trees as 1 that still makes 6. Stamps used were gothic fairy (dragon mistress) from Stamp it Crazy, dragon and owl from Tanda Stamps, gravestone from recollections, the stunted trees are from De Stempelwinkel and the tree is a digi from .....um.....I'll find it some where.
Using distressing ink, I daubed a background and just added layers from there. There is a moon hiding behind the trees branches by the way. The dragon was stamped with stazon onto a shiny green card that has holographic properties the other images in pigment inks. The tree coloured in PM's, the fairy with watercolours the rest are inked. Great fun to put together - just missing a few bats in the sky - but I don't have rubber ones :( ....... yet.

I am entering this into the Haunted Design House challenge #52 - Stamp It Crazy.. a minimum of 3 stamped images (or digis)
My thanks go to Lyn (BD) for her generosity without which I could not have made this.

Challenge in Pink from the Duck Pond

What would you do for your best friend? Apart from the normal things like be there in a crisis, tell them they look a million dollars and mean it, ..... the list goes on........ make cards in PINK !!!!! She knew I would, only 'cos it's The Duck.
To cut a long story short.... my best friend Karen has started up on her own, filling a hole in the market, at least up here in Scotland. Making up a kit, which will be sent monthly, for making cards. Sourcing some gorgeous papers, card stock and various embellishments and the plastic sleeves to store in or for selling on. Each kit is all colour co-ordinated to take away that dilemma many have. "Make me some cards up please" says she. "Of course I will" says me. The package arrives .....luckily she'd had the forsight to put the contents in a plastic bag because the postie left it on the doorstep, and of course it rained, contents safe and dry. I open it up eagerly ....... PINK !!!! Well alot is. There are other colours of course but my brain only saw PINK at first. So the challenge was set. Link over on the left to see the kit supplied in full.
I've done 6 cards so far from the 9 blanks sent. Using only my trusty double sided tape and a bit of silicon glue I set to work. OK - I used some of my own brads and images as well but essentially the cards are made using only the supply sent. There's still loads left to do the other 3 but the camera is running short on battery power so they will have to wait. Some of the cards I am also entering into a couple of challenges.
