Witches in Monochrome

Monochromatic Monstrosities for Barb over on Haunted Design House this week. As mentioned the other day - I had a couple of sheets of images all coloured in and all in grey/black. That bit on the up and coming challenges on the blog was a great insight into what was going to be needed. I've come to the conclusion I actually like colouring in monochrome, it provides a bit more of a challenge. Anyway back to this project......
I used 2 of the witches images from Smeared Ink - "Ghouly" and "Wicked". The stripes are a grey linen look paper onto which I randomly stamped a ghosty image and then cut up. The sentiment was computer generated by me. It was all distressed and inked with black. The "top" was then layered onto distressed black paper that I inked with grey ink and then layered onto grey card stock.
Dafty me . I was so intent on getting the 6 stripes in for the Smeared and Smudged sketchy this month, thinking I could combine the two challenges, that I forgot it was only 1 image. Looks like I'll be doing another for that. Oh well.
Over on the Two Sisters Challenge Blog - The monochrome challenge is still going on and you can enter more than once.... so am entering this there as well, as well as over on Darkness Inspiration, their theme is witches, and the new challenge blog Gingerloft Challenge where for their fist challenge - anything goes.

  2. This is fab Helen, those stripes re delish, and I think it will stil count for the Smeared and smudged sketch challenge too, I'm sure an extra image won't count against you; you've just combined two digis into one scene ;)
