It's four weeks into the challenge at Through the Purple Haze Challenge Blog to make a project every week to be entered into the draw for a massive prize. After almost giving myself a heart attack in the second week and only just squeaking in before the deadline, I have taken full advantage of the "pre-warning" of the next week's challenge theme that is given in their facebook group. I was able to get this card finished early and ready to post. This week is going to be a busy one.
There is also blog candy up for grabs - once they hit 100 followers. The link is on my side bar as well incase you get lost.
The theme this week is Cards With Tickets or Tags with Crafty Sentiments sponsoring.
Well, I don't have any Crafty Sentiments products - but that doesn't matter. No tickets either but didn't want to use a tag. So I made my own tickets with the aid of my pc, printer and perforating disc on my cutter. The card ............sorry about the light - seems the daylight here has some weird way of distorting some colours :(
Papertake Weekly as my inspiration. Adding the tear off tickets to the side of this hug-able - I Lovs You Dis Much -scarecrow from Rick St Dennis.
It's no accident that the die cut used to mat him on is the X-cut parentheses, symbolising hugs in the cyber world.
The other end of the acetate "spring" secured behind the DCVW dp. The sentiment is then able to bounce around at will.
Some little white flowers were kissed with promarkers to add colour.
The hessian strip used in-keeping with the scarecrow image.
Another ticket was added in the corner with a paperclip just for good measure.
I'd like to enter this card into the challenges at
