OOps nearly forgot to post my day 12 piece - so used to it being auto posted.
Anyway, my piece for the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Hallowe'en Blog hop is here now.
I made a second fat book page. So I can look back on this in times to come.
I have used 2 images from Delicious Doodles - who just happen to be just one of the awesome sponsors lined up along the way.
I have used the Skeletal Candle Holder and Skull's 'n' Roses Corner.
Layers added to give depth. Coloured with promarkers. Some tiny gems and glossy accents to finish.
The backing paper is from Crafty Chaos, Unfortunately Susan is still not feeling up to opening her shop again yet.
My right hand side bar still has the complete blog list. The Rules are on the forum and on Terra's blog. The list of sponsors and clues to the Scavenger hunt can be found there as well.
Before me you would have visited the fabulously talented Valerie and now you'll be winging your way to the beautiful blog of Sharon.
Thanks for all your kind comments so far - they really lift my day.
See you tomorrow
I'll be letting you into a little secret tomorrow ;)
Awesome. I like how you took pick with cool background.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous combination of the stamps. Thank you for sharing your art.
ReplyDeleteVery neat page for your fatbook. I love your skulls at the sides of the page. I missed whether it's digital or not. I gave you some bad information the other day because I didn't know any better. I shade with the burn tool in PS- there must be something like it in gimp - the icon in the toolbar looks like a fist. Anyway, I said it doesn't work on white but I was using it this morning and it does shade the white areas as well as the colored area. Use a low opacity and a soft brush.
ReplyDeleteSuper cool! Lovely, lovely!
