Today's my team's turn over at Delicious Doodles' Challenges to bring you this week's challenge.
The name of the game and the subject of your project is
POPPIES
I have chosen Teri's new image Remembrance to work with, although there are more images that I could have chosen. My teamies have made some absolutely beautiful examples for your eyes to feast on.
This is my simple card
An ordinary A5 card base turned and the image sitting proud. I used the sketchy over at Sketches By Carly for my inspiration. The BP is from 7 Gypsies. Over this are 3 embossed panels of coredinations. in 2 slightly different yellow gold colours and 2 little panels cut using the smallest labels 8 die. The image cut out using the largest with a red piece of card to back it with making it all nice and neat at the back. The ink distressing done whilst still in the die using wild honey and festive berries for a kind of sunset look.
The image itself, printed 4 times, was coloured with promarkers and several of the elements then cut out and layered up. I added a small length of wire for the sign to bring that up as well.
Here you can see more of the dimension.
Some red tear drop gems finished this off.
We are now waiting for you to link your Poppy themed makes so that we can come and see.
Don't forget to visit the other girls
