This is 2 weeks on the trot that I've managed to get my entry done on time for Delicious Doodles' challenge. We're on a roll.
This week it's a "Get Well Soon or Cheer someone Up" theme.
I chose the image Rose Corner to work with and made a double pocket card secured with a couple of gold glittery brads with a couple of tags.
I decoupaged 3 more layers for the roses to give more dimension after colouring with promarkers and adding some DI to take away the glare of white. Added just a touch of glimmer dust and a few dots of gold glitter dust. This matched with the gold dotted net that I made into a bow and added to the first tag covering the staple with a little ribbon rose from stash.
The tags were made from the same core-dinations and DCWV papers as on the card, run through a swirly embossing plate and highlighted with gold. Some gold line peeloffs completed the look. The sentiments are computer generated and have the same rose corner added.
The tassel on the second tag was made using embroidery silks from stash.
Inside the card reads
This is my entry this week into the Delicious Doodles "Get Well Soon" challenge
I am also entering this into the Anything Goes Challenges for their "Eyelets and Brads" challenge. Brads keep this card together and an eyelet on the 2nd tag
One Stop Craft Challenges have a "More than one fold " challenge. This has 5.
