Four Seasons with Delicious Doodles

There's a little saying in these parts - "you know you're in Scotland when you get all four seasons in one day". This happens to be the theme this week of the challenge over on the
This also brought to my mind a song, one from my youth by James Taylor; "You've got a friend"; the bit where the the lyrics are "Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, all you got to do is call. You've got a friend"
Where is this taking us? To the card I made as part of the host Team A is where. Box cards seem to be the rage at the moment and I just had to have a go. Those ones that fold flat for posting. The method as demonstrated by Nikki Hall is by far the easiest by the way.
This is my take on it.

Some Spring Daffodils mixed with Summer butterflies coming out of the top
see here for one butterfly and here for the others. The butterflies have been mounted onto strips of acetate.

also featuring the Autumn/Fall paper

the sentiment is computer generated then cut out with nesties with distress ink shading
with room to write a message

The Lovey-Dovey Silhouette on the front highlighted with distress inks

The Harbour Scene on a summer's day added colour with Graph it pens

A Crofter's Winter with a touch of sparkle and added colour with Graph it pens.

So all seasons are covered here.
We're not asking for you to cover them all in one project though. Just as long as one is featured we'll be happy. Which season will you choose to depict? Come and show us over on the Delicious Doodles Challenge blog.
