Anyone that has visited my blog in the last couple of weeks will have seen my projects for the Smeared and Smudged April blog hop. I mentioned there that there was one image from the Smitten Set left over. The card here is using that remaining image.
I followed the sketch over at Midnight madness this week because it just seemed to fit.
Plenty of distressing, some torn paper (from stash), stitching, some pleated old lace, taken from a dress I had once upon a time, and a length of ribbon looped up and held in place with a button. Some punched paper flowers and pearls.
The image itself is coloured with promarkers.
Distressed with tattered rose DI and stitched onto layers of lilac and biege that had also been "aged"
The whole thing layered onto brown cs to tie in with the stripe and then onto a cream cs base.
