More Green



With St Patrick's day behind us now, this might well be the last green card for a while. The image is another from the pen of Ching-Chou Kuik in the form of a rubber stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps. Following the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

It was coloured entirely with pencils, blended. This was then framed with an offcut from a previously used diecut oval. I inked with bundled sage DI and spritzed with copper glimmer mist.

The backing card is pearlised green that was embossed with butterflies and the corners trimmed with a MS punch. Layered onto light green CS after attaching 4 different ribbons in shades of green. Some tiny flower buttons were added as they mirror those on the image and some green stickles added to match further. I made a butterfly using glitter cordage.
