Fly Like the Wind

I thought I'd best get my entry for Through The Purple Haze challenge in early this week. I hope to continue in this weekly marathon until at least Christmas to be in with a chance of their MEGA draw. Blinging things normally has me in a panic if I have to think about it too long. I never know how much is enough to qualify as "Bling it up". I hope this suffices.

The colours that I chose have been determined by the quadruple of colours over at Chromatic Craze.

So the red card base was cut and folded in as a stepper card. Pale blue matting under some orange (with text) DP from the Authentique "Enchanted" pad. Some lime green lace and ribbons to complete the colour range.  The sentiments are digis from TLC and Ginger's house. Bling from stash.

The image panel - that saucy witch is one of the latest from the pen of Rick St Dennis. Katie the Pin-up Witch. Coloured with promarkers in lime green, orange, blue and red. She was then masked off and a paper artsy text stamped in pale blue and a TH web in orange for a background. and edge distressed with shabby shutters DI before matting onto lime green and orange card. The green webs were die cut from green coredinations and glittered up with patina and crystal stickles. These were sandwiched between the card base and the image panel.
A trio of glittery spiders added and finished.

I'd like to enter this card into the challenges at

The Corrosive Challenge - Maiden, Mother, Crone

Spots and Stripes

Either or both. I chose both. For the Delicious Doodles challenge this week that is.
I'm back at work tomorrow so might not have much time before next friday so hoping the light on this is ok.

Spots and stripes were my choice. Well they were on the image so went with that.
The image is "Winter's Wonder" from Teri's own fab collection.

Coloured with watercolour pencils with a bit of ink distressing with "barndoor" DI to highlight. The sentiment is from TLC.
This being in PNG format, allowed the placement before printing. The image was layered onto some swirl embossed black CS to match the swirls in the dress. This in turn was layered onto some red CS that I put strips of narrow DS tape on and rubbed fine black glitter on. Then onto the dotty paper. then the plain red paper. Where the two joined, more DS tape and more glitter.
More swirls, this time with tiny black gems and a little posy of red and black roses in the corner.
Then onto a black CS base.

I am entering this into the challenge over at Delicious Doodles challenges - Spots and/or Stripes
Digi Doodle Shops Best challenge - Swirls. There are swirls on the image, on the backing card and mini gem ones

Eat outside

Another Tellen's Place digi from the dark range..... done fairly tame this time. With a little twist. Over on QKD's Whimsical Ink Sorority there is a really simple sketchy to follow this week. I just HAD to use my new TPD stamps. I have slightly adapted the TLC creations sentiment to fit. The image is coloured with PM's and inked round the edge with stormy sky distress ink mounted onto brown card stock. The panel is torn vellum from stash as is everything else. Hehehe, even the little chicken bones ..... left over from the voodoo challenge over on HDH.
