The Challenge: TRASHY TUESDAY
Create a project by upcycling some of your trash! Be sure to pick something that is obviously trash (i.e. soda can, bottle tops, bread closure tabs, etc.).
Last full day of our hols today - and the weather was glorious (for a change). We took the opportunity of going to the beach. After trawling some of the charity shops for any "objects d'art" that might be useful (or just because!!) we went down to the beach and had icecream. You can't go to the seaside without having an icecream, can you?
This is just one of the pics that with go in the scrap book when I can print it out and will form part of a double page spread with my day 2 entry for Smudgefest.
This is the page - following the scrapbook LO as per the August very sketchy challenge over at the Smeared & Smudged forum.
Showing a map of the area where we have been exploring, the napkin is the one that my husband's icecream was served with and the green tinsely bit was served with mine.
Here, you can see the journalling that can be slipped out to read, under the stamped images. These are from the Candy Is Dandy set from Smeared Ink. Coloured with promarkers.
Wednesday is the day for travelling - about 9 hours in total - and tomorrow's challenge will be a bit pushed. I will be doing my very best though to keep going. I will however be able to use my main PC - this old lappy is a bit temperamental
I am entering this into the challenge
