31 Days of Hallowe'en - Day 4

And On to day 4 of this month long blog hop arranged by the Smeared and Smudged forum. Full rules are still here - and on Terra's blog. The blog list will be on the right hand side bar for the duration of October.
Did you get here from Valerie's blog? If so, you're on the right course for Sharon's blog next. But before you go, I have an altered CD that I'd like to show you.
This image was purchased from a company and used by me in good faith but it was subsequently found to be an image stolen from another artist - Judith
The other side of the CD is totally stamped with rubber from De Stempelwinkel.and the little Standing Raven from Smeared Ink's Holy City range, now available in digi format.

Using the plate Dark Bounderies. It was stamped using a mixture of different inks and techniques including reverse image stamping using acetate. (the fence and side branches).
The different lace lengths attached before the images, then holes punched and eyelets attached. Some ribbon to hang it with and some chains with charms and beads to finish.

Thank you for visiting. See you tomorrow with an extra special post concerning one of the sponsors of this 31days of Hallowe'en - Rick St Dennis MFA

I'd like to enter this into the challenge at
Moving Along With The Times - In the Dark

  1. Hello, Helen this is a beautiful altered cd and the image is lovely. Was good you found out; there is so much disregard for artists.

  13. The second side of the CD is totally amazing with the muted graveyard scene and the skull tree. The different techniques you used really worked together well. Does the artist that this (the other side) was stolen from sell her images herself? Because it is quite charming and whimsical.
