Today's project is made to fulfil the criteria of one of the challenges that I have been entering every week in order to be in the running for a massive prize come Christmas - Through the Purple Haze.
I have decorated a coffin shaped box.
This image is from the limited edition collections and called Christian Count Drac.
Coloured with promarkers before cutting out with a die and matting onto the larger size.
The papers are from the new digi range Vintage Grunge from Smeared Ink. The edges have been further grunged using distress ink after a bit of "roughing up"
Some chain with a few charms (cross, stake, and the frightful TH muse token) attached to the matted layers. A lace wreath with a mirror behind it and watch charm in front with some tiny lime green and orange flowers added.
Some tiny die cut cogs were randomly given a lick of "aged hunter frantage" embossing enamel and attached to the copper ribbon round the side of the top.
The base of the box was decorated with more distress inks after masking (TH)
A box for all those sweeties that will be handed round in the coming weeks.
Thank you for looking. And off you pop to the very talented Loren.
See you tomorrow.
I am entering this sweet box into the challenge at
