Day 4 of the 31 Days of Hallowe'en - with Delicious Doodles

This is a duel post covering not only my (simple) card for the NEW Delicious Doodles Shaped Cards Challenge starting today but also my post for the 31 Days of Hallowe'en Blog Hop.

For full deets on this Freaking fantabulous Blog hop organised by Smeared Ink and The Smeared and Smudged forum, please hop on over to Terra's blog. All the info on the days sponsors are there as well as any other info you think you might need.  The blog hop roll is there in my side bar.
Did you know that Delicious Doodles are also sponsoring this hop?
I apologise to those I haven't yet visited, I will do my utmost to get round to you all. Time!!!

I did say simple card, didn't I!
How many of you use your cutting dies to their full advantage? I know I don't. Simple and quick shaped cards can be achieved by running a folding piece of card through your cutting machine with the edge of the die overhanging the folded edge so that the hinge is not lost.
The smaller shapes in those nesting sets can then be used to co-ordinate the matting. For more examples - go see the cards made by the rest of the DD DT.

I used the Gargoyle Corner Set and the Happy Helloween sentiment both, of course, from Delicious Doodles. After printing and cutting out, loads of distress ink in shades of yellow through to orange were applied. Some tiny gems were adhered to the eyes of the Gargoyles and the central pumpkin.
That's about it people. Simple and quick.

If you're following the blog roll order you will have arrived from the awesome Susan and now you pop to the very talented Loren. It would be great if you could manage a detour to the rest of the Delicious Doodles DT as well and leave some love.
